CSIR has appointed Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Scientist F & Head, Environmental Biotechnology as Acting Director of Industrial Toxicology Research Centre, Lucknow.

Industrial Toxicology Research Centre, Lucknow celebrated WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY on 5th June, 2007. On this occasion Prof. Anil K. Tyagi, Department of Biochemistry, University of Delhi South Campus, New Delhi delivered XI Dr. C.R. Krishnamurti Memorial Oration . Dr. P.K. Seth, Former Director, ITRC and CEO, Biotechnology Park, Govt. of U.P., Lucknow presided over the function.

A painting competition was organized on this occasion on June 01, 2007. The students were divided into three groups and winners were awarded on 5th June, 2007.
